Institute of Loss Adjusters offers an MSc Professional Development, which is suitable for insurance professionals.
The MSc Professional Development (Loss Adjusting) provides an opportunity for Associate and Fellow members of the CILA to ‘top-up’ their existing professional CILA qualifications in order to obtain a Master’s qualification.
How will I be assessed?
The course has been developed in conjunction with Bournemouth University and you can choose to either complete an Extended Project or a selection of units from Bournemouth University Business School.
The Extended Project is an opportunity to complete a significant piece of self-managed research in an area that interests you. Your assessment will be a 30,000 word project, and this will be structured as a single extended project or two smaller independent projects.
Alternatively, you can pick a number of units which together make up 120 credits. Units are typically 20 or 40 credits, so you’ll need to complete between three and six units to top-up to the MSc.
